Because Trados was unable to tell us, whenever it is permitted or not to distribute source code based on their API under an open source license, this plugin is under a proprietary but free of charge license. If you want the source code for any reason, please tell us and we can discuss what to do.

| Before Trados Studio 2019, SDL ensured ascending compatibility between plugins, for that reason new releases were only published when there are new features. Users of Studio 2017 can use stable release for Studio 2014 for example Warning: SDL often introduced new API in service packs, not in the major version, so please ensure you have the last service pack. |
