Elefas is a long-term translation memory: you put in the database all your old translations, even for years, and each time you start a new project, you submit the source files for a search which will give you the best results in a TMX which remains small enough to be included in most CAT tools, even if the database itself contains gigabytes of data.

Now three demo instances of Elefas translation memory are provided:

• EU-Demo is read-only and pre-filled with a small extraction from public TM of the Commission if you want to test searches only;
• OS-Demo is read-only and pre-filled with a small extraction from KDE project, if you want to test searches on
• Empty-demo is empty and lets you import any TMX you want for your tests (important: this demo is potentially shared with other people, so don't put anything confidential and as long as it is a demo, I may clean it from time to time)
