Featured project: Cyclotis

Sometimes a translation job needs to be split among different translators: either because it is too big, or because it is urgent. Cutting the file in two or more parts and giving each part to a different translator is more or less like working without translation memories: it will be harder and/or more costly to ensure consistency across translations.
Most CAT tools provide a way to share the project memory during translation. But each tool has its own way of working, incompatible with others. And generally, synchronization occurs during saving, which occurs periodically (1 to 20 minutes). Cyclotis, on the contrary, offers real-time sharing, and enables collaboration between people using different CAT tools.
